This old 1927 bronze ships wheel bookend is in good condition with no damage or repairs, but it does have a tendency to lean forward (see photo #2), and it needs a good cleaning. The lead weighted 5 7/8″ wide x 6 1/2″ tall x 1 1/4 thick book end is made from material that came from the U. Frigate Constitution (“Old Ironsides”). I do not have the mate to it.
