Here is a well made retirement plaque from 1978, brass is 5 inches wide, it weighs almost 3 pounds.
This was picked up by my Grandfather somewhere in his many travels. He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. Great vintage plaque that is over 50 years old. Wood plaque measures approx 10″x8″. Brass emblem is 5 round.
