This is the Sampsons steam whistle as removed by Metro Machine. The photo is of the unit on my trailer. The unit is in storage and will take out and post in a day or two.

USS SAMPSON DDG-10 5/54 Gun Director Binocular Sight
For sale is a one of a kind binocular sight from the Gun Director on the USS Sampson. The lens at the back has cracked but does not seem to effect ones view. This unit removed from Sampson is untested for function. The bell is brass and the unit has an indicator function box attached. And it’s not brasso that does it and it’s not a machine polish.
