This is a very rare, full size poster from the 1943 propaganda and advertising campaign by the “electric Boat Company” whom manufactured submarines for the US Navy. This poster has been Linen backed and has a 1 margin around the poster form the backing. The poster was deacid washed, cleaned of any dirt and stains, and backed onto canvas, lined with acid free masa paper, using PH balanced wheat paste. The poster was then touched up with water soluble water color pencils. The process is fully reversible and preservative according to archival standards.
