President Truman gave my grandfather A. Adams this bell sometime in early 50’s. My grandfather and Truman were friends since he was Mayor of Key West when Truman was POTUS. Specifics are not known. The bell just showed up and my grandad was no fan of the bell. So he gave it to our family…. (read more)
