This is a commemorative booklet published for the laying down of the battleships SS Richelieu and the SS Clemenceau. 12 pages (6 pages folded) plus end papers and card stock covers not bound by held together by a tied cord. The Speech at this laying down ceremony was given by Cesar Campinchi who was Ministre de la Marine Militaire at the time. The run was limited to 875 of these with this one being numbered 96. Together with a letter from Helene Campinchi to an unknown friend who sent this program along after a conversation in which the speech was brought up. Part of a long time collection of transportation items. Measures: 9 long by 7 1/2 wide.
