There were very few brass deck hatch wheels on the Briscoe and Deyo. Most where stamped steel. This is a rare item and will polish up beautifully. These deck hatch’s were removed from the Sampson. It is the hatch top without the base. The inside size of this hatch is 29 x 23 and it comes with the scuttle hatch and the wheel for tightening the scuttle.
