This is a prototype Angle Solver MK 13 Mod 0 Serial number 2 created for the US Navy by Librascope. Most of the dials move when actuated but some are sticky. I’ve never thought of trying to open it up to clean. The plate on the upper left hand corner clearly shows a torpedo boat… (read more)

ARG-1 (Astronomisches Rechengerät 1) Celestial Computer, Fl. This was used by BOTH the Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine throughout the later stages of the war. The ARG-1 is an extremely accurate Navigational instrument. Manufactured only by Carl Zeiss (blc), they were originally a Luftwaffe issued piece, but were eventually adopted by the Kriegsmarine for use on U-boats…. (read more)
