He passed away on June 17, 2005 at the age of 87. An Aviation Machinist Mate at the time of the attack who later went on to retire from the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander in 1970. He passed away October 16, 2010 at the age of 90. A Seaman aboard the Arizona at the time of the attack, he was badly burned and discharged from the the Navy. But once he recovered he re-enlisted and fought throughout the remainder of the war in the Pacific. He passed away February 15, 2020 at the age of 97.
