(7) original black and white snapshots of the United States Lighthouse Service lightship ” Diamond” #105. All measure 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. Taken by crewman Floyd Earl Crewe of Mathews Virginia. He joined the crew in 1930 as a seaman. These were removed from an album and have corner mounts still attached with ink identification at top. I consider these extremely rare and are priced appropriately for their rarity. They are each a one of a kind. He was the last Civilian Unites Sates lighthouse keeper retiring in 1968 with 38 years service. He was stationed at Wolf Trap lighthouse at the time of his retirement. Please view my other items. They show the damage to the lightship. They are being listed separately.
