This is an original piece of the 1794 US FRIGATE CONSTITUTION HULL from Its rebuilding in 1927 6-1/8″ wide by 4-1/2″ by 1-1/4, weighing 1 pound 6.4 ounces. We inherited it in 1978 handed down from my late husband’s grandfather, first comptroller of U. Its plaque is ever so slightly tippy but not at all loose, and as it sits on a desk, you can lift its right front by pushing down on the left back.
