VINTAGE 1:36 SCALE PLASTIC MODEL OF A WWII U. LANDING CRAFT (LCVP)- Landing Craft, Vehicle, Personnel. Built from 1935 to 1950, this flat bottom boat could land men and equipment in as little as 18″ to 24″ of water. Boat was 36 feet long. Model is 12″ long and 4″ wide, has a detachable tank (5″ x 2 1/4″), and a plastic stand for desk top display. THIS MODEL WAS BUILT AND PAINTED BY AN EXPERIENCED MODEL BUILDER WHO STARTED IN 1963.
