Handbuilt full hull wood model of the Missouri 1600 scale

This is a small, beautifully crafted scratchbuilt model of Mighty Mo’, BB 63. I know nothing of the skilled maker, and I suspect it was built just after WW2. The detail is quite amazing, and the waterline paint is perfect.
