WW II German Navy Ship SHIP’S LOG INSTRUMENT NAUTICAL MILES VERY RARE
This was used to measure the distance travelled (Nautical Miles). It performs exactly the same function as that of a vehicle by recording the distance travelled. Initially logs were purely mechanical and required no electrical power to operate. It was then connected by a short line to a spinner. While in the water, the spinner would turn, thus spinning the counter on the log itself to record the distance. Though there are some slight marks and wear, it still retains 95% original KM Paint! Features a serial number on the bezel, alongside a KM Adler. A FANTASTIC example, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display! Powered by SixBit’s eCommerce Solution.
