Dating from the Turn of the 20th Century. Recently restored & polished at great expense. Crown, 9 3/4 dia. Fore sale is this beautiful very rare pre-wwII. These are getting extremely hard to find and usually do not have all the correct hardware with them. The hardware is just as hard to find as the bells are, as most of these items have been destroyed when the ships were decommissioned. We have painstakingly spent the past year restoring this magnificent item. No chemicals were used that could damage the bell during the restore process. Lots of care and love went into this bell! The base was made by. Navy Veteran Jim Tingly. Made of Mountain Cedar which has beautiful grain and color. The base measures 19 X 10 1/4 X 2. This comes with two vintage coat hangers that have been restored. These can be mounted to the base or mounted to your wall for added decor and make a nice addition. The bell has no cracks or past repairs to it nor does any of the hardware. Today more than ever our history is being taken down and or lost to time. So this was truly an honor to restore. This would be a great gift for a past or current Navy Veterans or for local VFW’s or other organizations. Don’t fall victim for fakes! There are many out there!
