WW2 German Kriegsmarine Compass / Surveying Protractor VERY RARE
Navy personnel used this device to accurately plot the ships direction and location. Made of brass, wood, and steel,, and dating between 1939 and 1945, this navigational computer is in AMAZING used condition! It is 100% complete, along with 3 additional arms that can be added to extend the protractor legs (for larger maps). Some wear, scratches and marks from use, but NO breaks or damage! It comes complete in the original wood box, however it is missing the original data plate that would have been affixed extermally. The Adler is still present, but has been purposefully worn down in some areas. I have shown a similar one in use in the last photo. Almost never found on the market today it is an EXTREMELY RARE item, PERFECT for any collection or display! Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. ABOUT ME.
