Vintage, nickel plated brass, thick letters on authentic original large heavy wood gang plank. The letter E has some loss of finish. Approximate measurements: Plank 62″L x 10″W. Letters 6″H x 5″W. USS Nereus (AS-17) was a Fulton-class submarine tender in service with the United States Navy from 1945 to 1971. She was scrapped in 2012.
