This oil on board painting of an Aegis Class Missle Destroyer was executed by renowned Martin Marietta Company artist C. It was displayed at the Baltimore plant where the VLS (Vertical launch System) for cruise missles was produced. This is a large impressive painting measuring 7′ 4″ long x 4′ 0″ high and dated 1979. The pressed board had cracked at one time and a patch was applied to the back. The board is warped and the painting is soiled and needs a good cleaning. Thanks for looking at my sale.
