This is an 8X10 display with teak wood salvaged from USS California when she was scrapped and wood from USS Missouri removed during renovations. The California was temperately sunk in Pearl Harbor when World War II began for the United States and the Japanese surrender was signed on the Missouri making this wood from the beginning and end of the war. Both ships have histories throughout the war as well. Includes LOA for the display and a copy of the information from the origin of each piece of wood. Each display will vary from the one in the photo, all the pieces are different shapes and sizes and frame will be different.
