4 1/2 x 3 1/4 inch B&W. Original photograph of ” Windmill Point” lighthouse in Virginia on the Chesapeake bay. Taken by USCG civilian keeper Floyd Earl Crewe of Mathews Virginia. He joined the crew in 1947 -1954 and assisted in the decommissioning of the lighthouse. This was removed from an album and has a corner mount still attached. He was the last Civilian Unites Sates lighthouse keeper retiring in 1968 with 38 years service. He was stationed at Wolf Trap lighthouse at the time of his retirement. Please view my other items.
