Has three notes to a sheet. Printed by the American Bank Note Co. Watermark on the paper is of the Crane Co. The Crane company that prints paper for U. Currency researched this item for me and says it was printed in 1897 or soon after. They even had never seen an uncut sheet!! Most likely used during Spanish-American war!! This could be very well the only uncut sheet in existence. A pink paper with black ink. Has great graphics of a sailor with U. Measures 13″ X 14″. This a must for any military collector, maritime collector, or bank note collector. Thanks; the paper is Crane’s Bond, No. 51 which, I believe, means it weighs 51 pounds per ream. A good solid text-weight paper. And the watermark is 1897, so the document would have been printed sometime after that; most likely in that year or very close to it. A really nice document. We are offering this Rare Hard to Find WWI Era Military Boat used to make a pontoon bridge. The boat is metal and comes in three sections. The sections each have a large dovetail to slide the together. This pontoon boat was used to make a foot bridge for soldiers and used when bridges were destroyed or not available. The boat is in very restorable condition. The front section and the middle section are in very good strong condition with only several very small holes otherwise strong and looks great. The rear section has some damage to the edges from use but it is also strong and very restorable. Please look at all the pics and contact me with any other questions. The boat sections measure: Front 39 inches long, Middle is 69 Inches long by 33 inches wide and 12 1/2 inches high at the location where the bridge planks were laid across the boat. The rear section is 22 1/2 inches long. I have found a picture of this style boat online showing it being used by foot soliders.
