Offered here is a beautifully built model of the U. The Repose was launched in 1944 and proudly served in three wars. She measured 520 feet long with a beam of 72 feet. This highly detailed model was built up from the rare plastic kit released by Revell models in 1960. The finished model measures 12.5″ long x 1.75″ wide and stands 5 high on it’s base. Helicopter model can be removed. The model is mounted to a solid wood display base with a brass ID plate. Wonderful gift for a veteran or medical corps member. Shatz Clocks were made in Germany. The clock itself works very well over the course of running it for about a week it was about 15 minutes fast so you will need to adjust the speed Dial on the rear side of the clock.
