At the time he was serving as second assistant keeper of Upper Cedar Point LH in Maryland. This was removed from an album and has a corner mounts still attached. He was the last Civilian United States lighthouse keeper retiring in 1968 with 38 years service. He was stationed at Wolf Trap lighthouse at the time of his retirement. Please view my other items. Measures 5 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches. I have listed (separately) his Continuous discharge book from the USLHS. It shows service on the lightships Diamond and Chesapeake in the 1930s.
