This squadron reflects the US Navy’s capability of Littoral Warfare. It includes three ships – USS Freedom class LCS, USS Independences class LCS and a USNS Spearhead Class T-EPF. The squadron also reflects and Osprey which can land on the USS indepedeence class LCS. Both Littoral Combat ships can carry a platoon of SEALS or Marines and can insert them via small boat or helicopter or the Osprey. The Spearhead class can embark a reinforced marine Company including their heavy weapons and headquarters. Together these three ships can land a strong reaction force and protect them through the hellfire missiles and 57mm autocannon on the LCS. The models are painted and includes decals. These are brand new models, which the CAD was developed in Michigan. It is 3d Printed by Thing Smiths in Ann Arbor Michigan using the latest 3D technology. Ann Arbor is home of the University of Michigan which is where Mark Zolna of MZmodels went to University. Decals by Dan Arute of Bedford NH. Painted and Marketed by MZ models – Mark Zolna. This is the second batch of MZModels LCS and includes many improvements of the first batch. However, to keep the price down the model is in Resin and not metal.
