4.7cm Pak (t) Cannon! Installed on the Panzerjäger I Tank Destroyers, t. Hese precision optical sights were mounted directly to the gun and provided magnified aiming capability for engaging armored and fortified targets. This was recovered from France, however I do not have any further history. The 4.7cm Pak (t) was the German designation for the Czech-designed Skoda 4.7 cm KPÚV vz. 38 anti-tank gun adopted following the occupation of Czechoslovakia. The weapon saw extensive service throughout the early and middle years of WW2, particularly on the Eastern Front and in North Africa, where it proved effective against a wide variety of Allied armored vehicles. The Panzerjäger I (English: “tank hunter mark I”) was the first German Panzerjäger (“tank hunter”) to see service in the Second World War. It mounted the Czech 4.7 cm KPÚV vz. 38 German designation “4.7 cm Pak (t)” anti-tank gun on a converted open-topped Panzer I Ausf. It was intended to counter heavy French tanks like the Char B1 bis that were beyond the capabilities of the 3.7 cm Pak 36 anti-tank gun and extended the life of the obsolete Panzer I chassis. A total of 202 Panzer I chassis were converted to Panzerjäger I standard in 1940-41, and were employed in the Battle of France, in the North Africa campaign and on the Eastern Front. Made of solid brass and steel, by ” dow “. This 2,5x 20° power gun sight is in SUPERB used condition! Approximately 95% of its original wartime finish, and the optics remain VERY CLEAR with only slight internal fogging! The reticle is present and fully adjustable. The original rubber eyecup is still attached, as well as the original data information, clearly indicating. Dow KF 2,5x. 4,7cm Pak (t). Features two indicators for ranging, indicating, “Sprgr” and “Pzgr” (High Explosive and Anti-Tank, respectively). Some slight marks and wear throughout, but NO dents, cracks, or repairs! Found in France and preserved in outstanding original condition, it comes complete as shown. Only ONE example of the. Panzerjäger I Tank Destroyer remains in existence, making this a VERY SCARED and FINE. Fine addition to any advanced collection of German optics, artillery equipment, or armored warfare relics!

Fine Lot of 6 Navis Neptun 136 HNLMS Tromp Guided Missile Frigate, 1970s Vintage Flotilla. In excellent, intact condition as seen in photos and described below. All are complete, with excellent paint (though one has some wear to the radar ball). Masts are intact, with some slightly bent as might be expected. Each about 4 5/16 long. Not tested and needs restoration. Adjustment levers are frozen. I’ve made no attempt to move them or use WD -40 type solutions but they should move freely once lubricated.

Her keel was laid down in 1964, and she was launched just over three years later, and commissioned in 1969. She was involved in the submarine incident off Kola Peninsula on 20 March 1993, when she collided with the Russian Navy submarine Novomoskovsk. She was decommissioned in 1997, and disposed of a year later. Construction and commissioning The contract to build Grayling was awarded on 5 September 1962 and her keel was laid down at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard at Kittery, Maine, on 12 May 1964. She was launched on 22 June 1967, sponsored by Miss Lori Brinker, the daughter of Lieutenant Commander Robert Brinker, who was commanding officer of the previous USS Grayling (SS-209) when she was lost with all hands in September 1943 during World War II. Grayling (SSN-646) was commissioned on 11 October 1969 with Charles R. In June 1996, Grayling took part in Exercise TAPON 96, [5] a North Atlantic Treaty Organization exercise held in the Alboran Sea, Gulf of Cadiz, and eastern Atlantic Ocean, along with the U. Navy destroyer USS Conolly (DD-979), the Spanish carrier Príncipe de Asturias, the Spanish frigates Baleares (F71), Santa María (F81), and Numancia, the Spanish submarine Delfin, and the Greek destroyer Formion (D220). Her scrapping via the U. Commemoration Grayling’s sail is now a memorial on the grounds of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard at Kittery, Maine, and her anchor and chain are on display as a memorial at The American Legion Post 106 in downtown Grayling, Michigan.
