Military Mahogany is proud to announce the only release of this handcrafted mahogany wood model of an Arleigh Burke-class Guided Missile Destroyer with display stand. This model is the real deal hand carved from solid mahogany and weighing over 5 lbs. This model is a custom order and not currently mass produced, you will only find this one and no more are currently planned to be carved due to the extreme amount of time and detail needed to complete this model. Most models take and average of 18hrs to complete however this took 3x that amount. This model is loaded with fine intricate details from bow to stern. This is not some cheap wood toy, each model takes an average of 18 hrs to complete and is coated with 3 coats of polyurethane for a super high gloss finish. You will not find a better more detailed model than this. All my models are new in box opened. 11 Height with stand. For some International buyers, additional models ordered are not able to be combined due to the size restrictions of your country. Every model is double boxed and wrapped for added protection. Most repairs can easily be fixed with a bit of SUPER GLUE, it dries clear and strong.
