This Christening bottle was given to my Grandmother Irene Henke. It has so much history especially when women went to work for the war effort. She used to tell me stories about it. The bottle is beautifully wrapped with Red, White and Blue ribbons and comes in the original wooden box with all the information including her name. Also included is nine 8X10 photographs of her and the female welding crew as well as the launch and the launch invite and the luncheon notice afterwards. Just try to find another bottle of this stature on the internet, you won’t especially for sale. It is truly a museum quality piece!!! I will also type out a letter stating that this was my grandmothers and I have her last name too. Own a piece of history!!
