These ships, whose sole job was to protect the coast of Sweden, are credited with one of the main reasons for keeping the Germans out of Sweden during the Second World War. This Plaque, which is in Excellent Condition, features a wonderful Bronzed finish on an Oak Wood Plaque with the Swedish spelling for the ships name of ” HMS DROTTNING VI K TORIA “. The Plaque measures approximately 10 1/2 inches in height and 7 1/2 inches in width with a weight of 1167 grams. Living in a city with one of Canada’s naval bases, I have seen quite a few ships plaques , but this is by far the nicest I have see. Please see my other items.
