Navy SEALs Special Ops Mark V Control Panel, Engine Monitor, GPS, Trip Chart. Salvaged from the cockpit of a US Navy Special Warfare craft, the 1995 Mark V SOC boat, this control panel was used to monitor 2 separate v12 KaMeWa waterjet engines. Also includes “Autohelm Tridata” digital trip chart, Steering nozzle position indicators, a Panasonic CFVDL02 monitor, a Furuno Gp 1650f color gps plotter/echo sounder, and a KaMeWa switch panel. History: This panel was salvaged from a 1995 Mark V Special Operations Craft (MK V SOC), formerly deployed by US Navy Special Warfare Groups. This was the second of only 20 boats ever made. It was manufactured by VT Halter Marine Inc, hull# 25MPB9501. The Navy has since retired all of these crafts. These boats had a low radar profile and were mainly used as a quick insertion and extraction platform for US Navy SEALs. The entire craft was 82′ long, all aluminum construction. It had room for 5 crew, 16 SEALs and their equipment. It featured a launching platform off the stern for up to four Combat Rubber Raiding Craft. The boat used two V12 diesel engines and waterjets that propel the vessel to over 50 knots. This vessel and items from it are featured on Season 8, Episode 9, of the DIY Network show, “Salvage Dawgs”.
