USS Constitution Vintage Photo Piece of Wood from Old Ironsides and Newspaper articles from 1970. Not sure what year the photo was taken but there are Model Ts on the dock. There are some words on the back but most have been covered up by the newspaper articles. It measures about 2 inches by 3 inches. The USS Constellation in Baltimore is the 1854 sloop-of-war, bearing the same name as the famous frigate of 1797, as well as perhaps a handful of timbers taken from the frigate and installed for sentimental purposes. In 1968 she was restored and configured to resemble the 1797 frigate Constellation which was built in Baltimore. This was in a small museum for a number of years but since it was not in line with our local history we are listing it for sale. See pictures for details. Offers are always welcome.
