ANOTHER SUPERB HOROLOGICAL NAVAL CIRCA WW2 WATCH FIND FROM ANTIQUETIME! Offered for sale today is this RARE original, CIRCA WW2 period Royal Navy issue, “HS7″ Sidereal time 60 second stopwatch. These stopwatches were specially developed to be used on board Royal Navy warships. This lovely watch measures 5.0cms or 50mm across. It is a white metal case with snap on hinged back and inner dust cover. The case is in great original condition showing only some light normal wear marks and one small crease/ding that I can see with the eye. The case back is engraved with the Royal Naval mark HS7 WITH THE BROAD ARROW IN BETWEEN THE’S’ AND THE’7′. It has the serial number 1210 as well. The inside of the back is unsigned. The dial on this lovely Naval watch is unsigned. It has the British Broad arrow on it above the number 6. Here are two repairs at 9 and 3 which obscure the numbers. This is where the Navy damaged the dial feet in order to make the watch un attractive to be stolen after service use(a common procedure)The dial is readable and the rest of it shows no hairlines or other damage. The chronograpg hand is excellent as is the sub time hand. I have fitted a brand new plastic crystal and as such it is in minty condition. This is a jeweled manual wind gold colored lovely movement. It is in excellent working order and the timer starts, stops and rests by pressing the winding crown. The chronograph hand snaps back dead on twelve. The movement condition (appearance) is 100%. It has been fully serviced and is in good working order. There is NO exception. I describe all of my items to the best of my knowledge.
